I have always had a fascination with art, always have drawn but didn't dedicate myself to it until four years ago, where I actually thought that my artworks were worthy of a frame. Pastels are my love, to be able to work with my hands to create images is very cathartic, but finding now my curiosity to work with other mediums is taking over and will be approached in the near future. My prefered topic would be animals, I love the challenge of trying to capture life in their eyes, to make them come alive in the picture, but I also have a love of the sea, many of my seascapes are influenced by Seaford beach a place where I grew up and have very fond memories of and hope I capture some of them in my pictures. |
